Notes:
Samsung Galaxy S3/S4 users are advised to avoid speeding up TouchWiz. You will need to access the Developer Options on your smartphone and set the Animation Duration Scale to Off. This is a mistake. This will cause the app to stop functioning correctly and may also affect other apps.
The app is more demanding than other controller apps, and may be difficult to use with a server on a NAS. The slowness of the server running on a NAS is a common complaint in reviews. If you have more than 10000 songs in your library, this is a problem.
- Use a wifi connection if possible. Although a mobile connection may work, it is not recommended unless the server has been properly configured.
This app communicates with the server whenever it is connected. You may be charged a substantial data usage fee if you use a mobile connection.
- Tested using the Squeezebox Receiver Boom.
