Scale Logic shows that scale key signatures can be confusing when you first learn to play a musical instrument. The unique app offers a new way to learn major and minor scales. It is based on the semitones and tones found in a scale.

The pattern of semitones and tones (the musical intervals), are set from the beginning note to the ending note in a major or minor scale. To demonstrate the construction of a scale, you can apply this fixed pattern to any note. This fixed pattern can be used to determine a scale's key signature by looking at the piano keys. You could place the musical intervals fixed at note G of the G Major scale and play white notes up to the black note F#. F# is the key signature for G major.

The fixed pattern shows which notes are required to create a scale, and which sharps/flats must be played in order for the scale to have its identity.
