The Pawn, a text-based adventure game that Magnetic Scrolls released in 1985 to great acclaim, is both amusing and complicated. It is set in Kerovnia's mythical world. The player is there completely by accident. You are not supposed to save your Princess, but the Adventurer. Is it possible to return home? Kerovina's history and the lives of its unusual residents is not something you can easily do.

Magnetic Scrolls, a British game development company that existed between 1984-90, was an active participant in the British videogame industry. It was a pioneer in audio-visually rich text adventure games. One of the most highly acclaimed and largest interactive fiction creators of the 1980s.

Stand Games has remastered the original game and made it more enjoyable (with permission). The updated version is compatible with modern devices and features a greatly improved user interface.

These features include:

* Touch-Text Commands

To perform command without having to type, tap the links within the text.

* Sidebar Inventory

You can find all your items in the sidebar. Drag and Drop to add them to the main text.

* Dynamic Map

We do the mapping for you. The map page expands as you play the game. To quickly jump to a previous location on the map, tap it.

* Compass rose

Use a handy GPS gadget to quickly navigate. Simply tap and move to see the exits available at any time.

These new features make it fun and enjoyable to use on mobiles. There are no dead ends: the remaster features multi-level save/load and an automatic undo when you die!
